Nicolinni's Chophouse

What a perfect place for my wife's birthday dinner. I thought we were early, but the restaurant was filling quickly and managed to get seated without issue. Our first time here so we looked at the menu online before we went and had a very good idea of what we wanted. The food was fantastic and well worth the price. Bread and salad comes with the dinners and also a side dish. Wonderful service (servers name Cole) made the meal even more enjoyable. Cocktails were delicious and made with top shelf ingredients. Topped it all off with a dessert that we shared. Restaurant is large, easy to find, and ample parking. I highly recommend coming here for a special occasion or just to enjoy good tasting Italian food. Already talking about returning around the holidays.

Drew did an exceptional job waiting on us. We had a party of 8 celebrating a birthday! The food was excellent! We did have reservations for this get-together.

Update 3/8/25*** While what i wrote in my initial review is true, i do have an uodat. We ate here last Saturday at a 4 o'clock reservation and was really disappointed. She got her normal, whit fish Francesca, and loved it, as usual. I got the clam chowder which was reall good, but i decided to get the filet and im amazed how terrible it came out. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium well , so i sent it back. The second one was well done, with a rare, almost purple stripe in the center, anout a quarter inch thick. I couldn't believe how bad this was. Im not one to complain, and since i sent one back already, i didn't want to complain again. I will never get a steak from here again. Food wasn't 5 star, but probably a 4. Very good for the prices! Service was outstanding, great job Allen! I ordered the filet and also got the 8oz lobster tail. Again, not 5 Star, but pretty darn food, especially for the prices. My GF got the fish Francesca, and she absolutely loved it. We'll definitely be back!

The wedding soup what's the best I've ever tasted in my life hands down. I only gave a four star on the service because I always want them to improve the ladies were amazing did good on the refills if you follow me you know I'm big on my refills I will drink some pop for like an hour and then I'll go through three in the next hour you just got to pay attention. Veal parmesan wow some of it was a little gristle... Most of it was absolutely fantastic. For for 24 it was three meals for me. Excellent proportions amazing sauce amazing bread amazing everything you guys really outdo yourselves.

UPDATED REVIEW!!!! We came back a year later and we sat at the bar. Emily was exceptional! The drinks, the food, the whiskey selection, literally EVERYTHING was excellent! The ribeye and crab combo is delicious and very reasonably priced. Food was very good. HOWEVER they close at 9PM but this also means that while you're still in the building you're not allowed to order drinks. I.E. we were at our table at 9:20 PM and our server took our drink order then came back and said "I'm sorry but we can't serve you after 9pm."... our server was cordial and very professional, but I feel we should have been informed prior to ordering.

*Update* -March 2025– Some of the hardest working people in the business, with the most consistent food in the area. No managers here, only the two owners who work every station, every single day. If you don’t see them, it’s not because they are sitting on their lazy asses, it’s because they are back of house cooking or washing dishes for the front of house . The bar staff are great, personable and knowledgeable. Danyell, Emily and Alan are all talented bartenders and just generally great people. They each have developed a loyal clientele for a reason! They will make whatever drink you'd like, as long as they have the ingredients to do so. The restaurant staff are wonderful as well, and make sure everyone is satisfied . The food is always flavorful and plentiful. Best happy hour in town. Half off apps Tuesday-Friday from 4-6, including any app on the daily specials menu! (At the bar or the high top tables on the bar side only) The owner makes homemade desserts daily which are to die for! Stop in and try it for yourself! Nicolinni’s Chophouse hits all of the marks for me when it comes to dining out. The staff (especially the owners) are amazing to their guests and make sure they are always well-taken care of. The food is literally my favorite Italian food ever. (best in the valley) The new restaurant is intimate and comfortable. Can’t wait to sit out on the patio! Thanks guys!

One of the rare occasions I wish I could give 6 stars. Wonderful dinner on a Friday night. They were busy but we were immediately seated. Prompt, friendly and professional service throughout. Our server was superb. The main menu was unique and there was a "specials" menu. Salad was served in a large bowl for the table to distribute. The house sweet vinaigrette dressing was excellant. Entrees were delivered 12 min after ordering and they were great. I chose a unique chicken-applejack with butternut ravioli an an apple reduction. Out of this world. My partner had egg plant parm with angel hair pasta. The red sauce was a bit sweeter and thinner than I like but still well above average. We splurged on a cinnamon roll cheesecake that was perfect with fresh whipped cream. The server was attentive throughout. The check for 2 with wine was about 65. I consider that a great value. Nicolinni's is definitely on our fine dining rotation. Probably the best meal I have had since moving to NE Ohio 6 months ago. We will definitely put Nicolinni's at the top of our fine dining rotation.

I went alone on a busy weekday evening. Got seated right away. Austin was my server, for as busy as he was, he made sure to check on me and make sure I was taken care of. My Ribeye was medium. It had a wonderful char on it and the inside was a perfectly. The bread before the meal was very fresh and the house salad was great as well. I will definitely recommend to friends and I’ll be back.
